Dear diary gang!

I have so much to tell you about.

Last week I played three festivals in Northern Norway: Høllafæst in Svolvær, Kubafestivalen in Svolvær, and Huinndagan in Alsvåg. Even though it rained ALL day, EVERY day, people didn't really seem to care.

I think something happens to people when they're surrounded by powerful nature. When you're standing beneath massive mountains, everything else feels so small. The people, the houses, the cars… all tiny tiny tiny.

Do you think the mountains look at us like we're cute little puppies living in our own little world? Or more like annoying little ants?

The week before that I went to Sweden. There's a thrift store in Sundsvall that I always end up visiting. It's this huge house sitting in the middle of nowhere, run by one man and his dog. Two floors and a yard, packed with absolutely everything you could imagine.

I got myself a camera (!!! my very first camera), along with some buttons, an old crusty watch, and a cute little container. When I bought the camera, it already had a roll of film inside. Afterward I realized that seven photos had already been taken on it!!

Yesterday I went to the photo store to have the film developed and digitized, so in a few days I'll get the photos sent to my email. I'm SO excited to see what's on them. Maybe I'll accidentally witness a murder? Or maybe it's just someone's holiday photos? I'll keep you updated.

I'm dropping a new song!!

It comes out on the 21st of August, so mark your calendars!

The song is about regret. It follows the experience of hurting someone you love and feeling stupid afterward. I've been wanting to write this song for such a long time, and finally everything fell into place.
