Wasn't It Sweet
September 13, 2026
Hello! A few weeks ago I shared the demos from my new EP with you here in the diary. I hope you enjoyed them, and maybe even found a new favorite song. If yours was "Wasn't It Sweet", I have good news: it's coming out on Friday!

Hello! A few weeks ago I shared the demos from my new EP with you here in the diary. I hope you enjoyed them, and maybe even found a new favorite song. If yours was "Wasn't It Sweet", I have good news: it's coming out on Friday!
The whole EP has a light blue color palette (you might have noticed). I wanted the covers to feel more simple than my earlier visuals, but still carry emotion through facial expressions and the wind in my hair. You've already heard the song, so here's the cover <3
This release feels extra special. I wrote it late one night in my bedroom, and I didn't think it was a song I would ever release. It was one of those songs I wrote just to make myself feel better. So I'm really happy I get to share it with you.
I think we all have a tendency to live in the past. We've all felt alone in love at some point. If you feel that way right now, or if your past still haunts you sometimes, I hope you can make this song yours and play it whenever you need it.
Talk to you soon!
XOXO
