Golden Years

Hi friends,

This week started with new sessions with some really amazing people. It's intense, and it's so much fun, working with people who know exactly what they're looking for. I learn so much on days like that.

When I'm in a room with people I look up to and trust, I know this is what I want to do every day. But I also know I have to earn it first. And one step on the way is getting my songs out there, so people can listen, and connect, and maybe love them.

Next Thursday, the 20th of February, I'm releasing my fourth single, "Golden Years".

I wrote it when I was 16, during the lockdown. Like every teenager I wanted to make friends, see the world and get away from my parents. But everything was shut down and we were all stuck at home. I couldn't make new friends, and I felt really alone. I remember thinking: am I missing what's supposed to be my golden years?

It was the very first song I wrote for this project. It's where I started to understand what I wanted to say with my music. So "Golden Years" is for anyone who feels left out, lonely or stuck while growing up. You're not alone. It gets better, I promise.

XOXO
